The project

The 11.1 MWp solar power plant at Williamsdale was the first project ever built in Australia by ib vogt GmbH. With 36,000 installed crystalline PV modules it marks a successful entry into a new and growing market.

We take pride in helping our clients to meet their economic and ecologic goals, using a single axis tracking system to keep the modules facing the sun throughout the day.

Since it was energized on 25th November 2016 the plant provides electricity for up to 3400 households. In the course of its 25 years lifetime it will prevent about 450,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions.

The project was constructed for an infrastructure company owned by Impact Investment Group and has been handed over to the Solar Income Fund, which is managed by the Group.
