O&M HSSE Manager (m/f/d)

The company operates internationally from offices in Spain Germany, Italy, Netherlands, France, Poland, USA, Australia, United Kingdom, Panama, India and South East Asia.

The O&M HSSE Manager will be responsible for the implementation and monitoring of HSSE programs and systems across ib vogts' O&M business.

• Ensuring compliance with applicable HSSE regulations and standards across ib vogts' O&M business.
• Developing, Implementing, and managing HSSE programs in O&M.
• Managing HSSE O&M and HSE subcontractors teams.
• Coordinate with the O&M management team, the corporate ESG department, and corporate HSSE colleagues on implementation of the HSSE and ESMS in operational assets.
• Performing Site HSSE inspections as required.
• Recording and reporting on HSSE metrics and KPIs.
• Preparing, maintaining, and advancing Operational HSSE tools, templates, plans etc. in coordination with the Head of EPC and O&M HSSE and the O&M management team.
• HSSE Qualification, assessing, and managing of contractors/subcontractors.
• Identify local occupational health & safety, social, and environmental regulations and standards in countries with ib vogt O&M activities (based on agreement with Head of EPC and O&M HSSE).
• Assist in the coaching, mentoring and implementation of the HSSE programs on site.
• Incident investigation management, emergency preparedness management, and PPE management.
• Insuring that HSSE training programs are in place.
• Developing and keeping effectiveness and supportive relations with internal and external stakeholders.
• Act as the point of escalation for local O&M HSSE issues.
• Coordinate the Occupational Risk Prevention Plan with the activities in the photovoltaic plants in the O&M phase.
• Promote and manage proposals for improvement in health, safety and the environment.

• Technical Bachelors degree, studies in HSE field
• Experience in Construction, Commissioning, and/or O&M Energy utility projects
• Experience on site as HSE supervisor/HSE officer/HSE manager 
• Managing groups of HSE supervisors/HSE officers
• Audit/inspection experience as an Internal auditor (ISO 45001, ISO 14001)
• Technical basis in Electrical Installations
• Relevant HSE certifications are advantageous
• Proficiency in English is mandatory, both written and verbal.
